Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to announce that real estate industry veteran, Rick Hoffman, has joined the company as Regional Manager for the Coachella Valley.
In this role, Hoffman is responsible for fulfilling Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty’s commitment to becoming a significant market force in the Desert by providing its agents with the benefits of new local leadership, agent support services, exclusive marketing initiatives, and access to the global network offered by the world’s leading luxury real estate brand, Sotheby’s International Realty.
“We have known Rick for many years and have tremendous respect for him as a
leader in our industry,” says Steve Games, CEO, Pacific Sotheby’s International
Realty. “With his leadership experience and extensive understanding of agents’
expectations, we are confident that Rick will help propel our company to the next
level in the Coachella Valley market. He will also be contributing to our overall
strategy for growth in Southern California.”
Hoffman has over 40 years of experience as a residential real estate brokerage executive. He served as President and COO of Coldwell Banker Residential
Brokerage in San Diego. Before that Hoffman was one of the founders and
President and COO of Coldwell Banker Associates Realty – which was, at the time,
the third-largest Coldwell Banker franchise in the U.S. He also co-founded and
was CEO of ERA the Property Store. Additionally, he has served as President of
the San Diego Association of Realtors and was a multi-year member of the Board
of Directors of the California Association of Realtors where, for a time he served
as chairman of their for-profit subsidiary, Real Estate Business Services (REBS).
“The most successful organizations in real estate are known for having cultures
that are positive, collaborative, innovative, uplifting and real,” says Hoffman.
“These are the principles created by Steve Games, Nyda Jones-Church and Brian
Arrington at Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty, so when they approached me
with the opportunity to help build their brand in Desert, I jumped at the chance.”
Hoffman believes that Sotheby’s International Realty is an exceptional brand,
second to none and that homeowners in the Coachella Valley recognize that brand
matters. Hoffman’s objective in the Desert is to increase brand awareness by
communicating the specific benefits provided by Pacific Sotheby’s International
Realty not only to consumers but to the individual Realtor as well.
A California native, Hoffman is a graduate of San Diego State University with a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing. He holds the E-Pro designation from
the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and is a graduate of the Wharton
School of Business Real Estate CEO series.
Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty currently has three office locations in
the Desert – two in Palm Springs and one in Indian Wells and are planning on
expanding with an additional office location in the La Quinta area. Rick Hoffman
