Members of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty’s Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar and Inland Corridor offices recently participated in a community service project in support of Solutions For Change and Solutions Farms, a nonprofit organization dedicated to solving the problem of family homelessness within the communities of San Diego.
The Pacific Sotheby’s Realty team worked at Solutions Farms in Vista. Solutions Farms is an innovative aquaponics farm that serves as a learning platform to provide real-world experience, and help residents of the program acquire and refine skills, ultimately leading to greater career success. Profits from the farm are re-invested into its programs, so each generation of residents helps the next.

On Thursday, July 21, 2016, Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty celebrated the much-anticipated grand opening of the firm’s new Global Headquarters in the heart of downtown La Jolla, California. Located at 1111 Prospect Street, the flagship office sits directly across the street from the historic La Valencia Hotel and was designed to showcase the best of San Diego Real Estate to the global audience that visits La Jolla each year.
The “blue” carpet was rolled out to welcome the estimated 250 guests to the 6,600 sq. ft. venue. Guests were greeted by photographers, stilt-walking street performers and live music and enjoyed a globally inspired cuisine and wine pairings. Additionally, party-goers were treated to a TESLA automobile demonstration and test-drives along with the opportunity to view a classic 1913 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost and a vintage Lionel model train collection which were displayed in the office’s public exhibit hall.
