On Wednesday, June 6, 2018, over 400 agents, managers, and employees of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty gathered together to mark the company’s 6th Anniversary under the leadership of Brian Arrington, Steve Games, and Nyda Jones-Church.

Held at the picturesque Laguna Cliffs Resort and Spa, this was the first opportunity for the company to come together as one since Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty’s acquisition of HOM Sotheby’s International Realty, extending the company’s reach from San Diego into Orange County and the Coachella Valley.

To honor the historical significance of the June 6th date, the event opened with the presentation of the colors and a beautifully sung rendition of the National Anthem. This was followed by a call to recognize all members and veterans of the military and their families.

The event included remarks from the Sotheby’s International Realty brand President and Chief Executive Officer, Philip A. White and its’ Chief Operations Officer, Julie Latorre, as well as agent panels, and presentations by company partners in business, technology, and philanthropy. A reception following the presentation allowed the agents the opportunity to network and build connections with one another.

“It was a successful and significant day to celebrate our company,” says Steve Games, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner, Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty. “We are excited to bring new direction, leadership, and resources to the Orange County market and continue to ensure support for all of our agents by creating an environment for growth and a new standard for real estate representation and sales.”

It is not by chance that Brian Arrington, Steve Games, and Nyda Jones-Church made their partnership in Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty official on June 6, 2010. The significance of the date holds special meaning, as all three partners share a love for America’s history and are deeply committed to supporting and honoring the service men and women who defend our freedom.

For Games, who is himself a Navy Veteran, it represents a piece of family history as well. His father was one of few surviving soldiers, who landed at Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944, as part of the Allied invasion of German-occupied France during World War 2.

The fact that the term “D Day” has become more commonly associated with the day on which an important operation is to begin or a change to take effect was also not lost on the trio who, on that same day, six years ago, set out to change the course of the real estate market in Southern California.

And change it has.

Under the leadership of Arrington, Games, and Jones-Church, Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty has rapidly grown into the most dominant real estate firm in San Diego. With a sales of over $4 billion in 2017 in San Diego County, Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty has become the number one real estate company in San Diego by volume.

Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty’s acquisition of HOM Sotheby’s International Realty is a perfect example of an extremely well-executed plan Integrating the Orange County and Coachella Valley area markets with San Diego will provide the company with the opportunity to continue to strengthen the Sotheby’s International Realty Brand across Southern California. Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty now supports over 900 elite real estate professionals in 32 offices throughout Southern California, making the firm one of the largest Sotheby’s International Realty franchises in the brands’ global network.
