Streamline Moderne Architecture. The style is characterized by rounded corners, simplified forms, walls of glass block, aerodynamic curves and nautical features. It reflected the frugal times of the Depression and was influenced by industrial
designs of appliances, cars, ships and trains. The style is found in residences, commercial buildings and even the marquee on a movie theatre!
