Point Loma Architectural Series Event with Architect F. Lee Hope, this Wednesday, May 2, 2018, 5PM-7PM

On Wednesday, May 2, 2018, from 5pm-7pm at the Point Loma Assembly, well-known architect F. Lee Home will present the Hope Family’s history of design and architecture in the San Diego community. His family’s designs can be seen in numerous architectural landmarks and projects throughout Point Loma and San Diego, including the Cabrillo National Monument Visitors Center, Ocean Beach Sacred Heart Church, the Harbor Point Commercial building, the Immaculata Church at USD, the “Q” commercial buildings and private residences. The body of work of the three generations is extensive.

This is the 10th presentation of the Point Loma Architectural Series, founded and sponsored by Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty agents, Caroline Glasner and Susan Diamond to explore the architectural history of Point Loma with experts in the field. Past lectures have featured nationally recognized architect Rob Quigley, interviewed by noted photographer Darren Bradley, architect Ione Stiegler on Richard Requa, Herbert Palmer, and Cliff May, architect Hal Sadler, architect Dick Laureau, Keith York on Sim Bruce Richards and architectural historian Diane Kane on the Historic Designation Process.

Caroline and Susan are Point Loma natives who have listed and sold significant coastal properties including some exceptional historical and architectural homes in the area. In forming Coastal Art and Home, they are promoting unique properties and the talented architects who designed them. Caroline and Susan have earned the Architectural Specialist designation from the Architectural Division of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty.
