What’s Happening In San Diego?

We are starting this week with November 1st! Chances are, you know what you are doing October 31, otherwise known as Halloween since Americans spend on average $81 per person on costumes, candy and decorations according to Money Magazine. So let’s focus on the month of November and the holiday season is just around the corner. Living in San Diego, we have much to be grateful for.
Opening Day at Del Mar!

The Bing Crosby Season will bring back the cool Del Mar vibe and quality racing. NOTE: 2017 Breeders Cup World Championships November 3 & 4.

What: Join the fiesta at the 21st annual Dia de los Muertos celebration, featuring live music, arts and crafts, interactive art and more. The free festival also features food and handmade goods available for purchase.

SDCCS LIGHT THE NIGHT AGAINST CRIME 5K RUN/WALK
When: November 4, 2017
Where: Liberty Station
Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight on the nighttime run/walk as they join law enforcement and others who are against crime. Persons of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. The event concludes with a post-event social. Proceeds benefit the San Diego Crime Stoppers.
CARLSBAD FALL VILLAGE FAIRE

The Gaslamp Quarter Fall Back Festival
When: November 5, 2017 11:00 – 4:00
Where: 410 Island Ave., San Diego, 92101
The Gaslamp Quarter transforms a three-block radius of modern day San Diego, California, into a 1880’s Wild West bonanza of epic proportions. The one-day event features attractions like a high-noon quick-draw shootout, an old-timey jail and a blacksmith practicing his trade. The little cowboys and cowgirls can enjoy pony rides, demonstrations on panning for gold and seeing dozens of townfolk dressed in era-appropriate garb.
