Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to announce that another Pacific Sotheby’s Agents of Change home will be built this weekend and gifted to the Morales Enrique Family in Tijuana, Mexico.
Through the Agents of Change initiative, a partnership between Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty and the non-profit organizations World Housing and New Story Charity, Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty’s agents committed to donating a portion of the commission from each closing with the goal of raising the funds needed to provide housing for families living in one of the poorest communities in Tijuana. To date, Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty has raised more than $100,000 in donations.
This weekend’s build, which falls over the Memorial Day holiday, will be an extra-special one as the Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty’s agents participating in the build will be joined by a local San Diego community group called QMissions — Operation Restore Hope. It will be an amazing build day working alongside these veterans this Memorial Day Weekend, remembering all those who have served and continue to serve.
Operation Restore Hope is designed to help veterans heal from the effects of war through serving others and being part of a cause greater than themselves. Groups of veterans travel to Mexico to work with a team to build relationships and homes for homeless families. Their trips form a platform for veterans to get to know one another and often include opportunities to participate in rehabilitation sessions.
Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty believes that homeownership is the foundation that gives people the chance for a better life.
