Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty’s Paul Caparas Featured on HGTV’s “House Hunters”

Paul Caparas of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty will be featured an episode of HGTV’s House Hunters, slated to air at 8:30 AM PST on Monday, April 30, 2018. The popular reality show follows homebuyers as they search for the “perfect home.”

The episode, titled “Million Dollar Budget on the San Diego Coast” follows Caparas as he shows his client Jeff several move-in ready homes close to the beach. “Jeff is a busy young professional who was ready to upgrade,” says Caparas. “You pay a premium to live close to the ocean in San Diego and it was important to show him homes that met his criteria in varying proximities to the coast so he could get a true understanding of the market.”

Working with a budget of $1.2M, Caparas included a home 2 miles from the beach in the Bay Ho area of San Diego. Though move in ready, the house did need some cosmetic updating but had amazing potential and a sales price of $750,000. “The property met his criteria while providing a solid investment and leaving him with the funds needed to create a space that was truly his.”

Caparas, who has been a real estate broker since 2003, said the show was an amazing experience for both himself and his client as well as a great opportunity to showcase San Diego real estate to the rest of the country.

And to let you in on a little secret, “House Hunters” is filmed after the home closes escrow, so we have a special sneak peek of the episode for you here if you don’t want to wait until tomorrow to watch!
